What columns and totals does the credit note have?
Each line has Description, Qty and Rate. Below the lines it adds a subtotal, plus discount %, tax % and shipping if you fill them in, and works out the total for you. Use Hide empty rows to keep unused lines off the printed page.
Which details does the credit note ask for?
You fill in the credit note number, the date and the details for from and credit to, plus original invoice number and reason. You can also add your logo and notes or terms.
Can I change the currency on the credit note?
Yes. Choose from about 48 currencies in the form, or pick the custom option, type your own symbol and set whether it goes before or after the amount.
Can I sign the credit note and print it on A4, Letter or A5?
Yes. Add your signature in Sign this document and drag it where you want it. Page setup lets you choose A4, US Letter or A5, portrait or landscape, and a long list of lines continues onto a new page.
How is the credit note number set?
It starts with the CN- prefix and a number, and you can type any number you like. Your business details and logo are saved in this browser so the next document is quicker to fill in.
